Water Treatment Engineers is a New Zealand based consulting firm providing water treatment expertise to water suppliers.
We specialise in solving difficult problems and balancing operational requirements with project requirements.
We have experience in water treatment plant operation, plant optimisation, operational document development, process design, project delivery, troubleshooting and commissioning.
We have worked extensively with municipal water suppliers, small water supplies and industrial/medical applications.
Water Treatment Engineers is based in Auckland and has a strong network of contacts within the water treatment industry including designers, contractors and equipment suppliers.

Muriwai Water Treatment Plant Reinstatement
Water Treatment Engineers NZ Limited were involved in the Muriwai Water Treatment Plant Reinstatement Project. Watercare Services Limited reinstated the water treatment plant after significant damage during the floods.
Hibiscus Coast Boost Pump Station
Water Treatment Engineers NZ Limited helped Watercare commission the Hibiscus Coast Boost Pump Station providing an additional 17 MLD of water to the Whangaparoa Peninsula.
Snells Water Treatment Plant Filter Upgrade
Water Treatment Engineers NZ were involved in the Snells/Algies Water Treatment Plant upgrade. Watercare replaced their old filters and added a clarifier, significantly improving the plant’s ability to treat water.
